Kiara is T.E.A.L.®’s first Youth Ambassador. Her job is to make her generation aware of ovarian cancer and its symptoms, and she has challenged herself to tell every amazing young girl about the disease.
She first heard about ovarian cancer after learning that her older cousin Jennifer had gone through treatment and emerged cancer-free. She did a lot of research on ovarian cancer and was surprised to find out that girls as young as eight can be affected. She became involved with T.E.A.L.® through Jennifer, who has been a volunteer in the past.
Kiara also enjoys competing in pageants, modeling and making clothes. She wants to continue using these skills as a platform in the future, to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer in young girls and teens.
