Tell Every Amazing Lady® Survivor Program

Part of our mission is to ameliorate the lives of Ovarian Cancer Survivors. We implement this mission through AwarenessSupportResearch

Definition of a T.E.A.L.® OVARIAN CANCER SURVIVOR

is an “Amazing Lady” who at any time in her life has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer whether she is currently a patient in treatment or cancer free. It could have been yesterday or 50 years ago. We honor these “Amazing Ladies” in a variety of events and programs in cities across the US. We offer free programs and services for survivors and their families all year long. After the late Louisa M. McGregor’s ovarian cancer diagnosis in 2007, Louisa and her sister Pamela Esposito-Amery were inspired to create a community for ovarian cancer survivors to share experiences and support. They began to realize that as a result of the absence of ovarian cancer research funding, there was also a lack of awareness, treatment options, ability to diagnose, and education/support for families and caregivers.

T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™

Annually, we honor survivors at T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ around the U.S. Throughout the events, survivors are celebrated during the survivor ceremony, highlighting each individual’s courage and perseverance in the face of such a difficult diagnosis.

Participants at a T.E.A.L® Walk/Run™ can sign up with a team in honor of an ovarian cancer survivor, showing their pride with signs to wear the day of the event.

Survivors have access to the survivor booth, where they can get exclusive giveaways, connect with other survivors, and take a moment to rest if needed. In addition to the survivor booth, there are educational booths with representatives providing health and wellness information for survivors, caregivers, and their families.
