T.E.A.L. went on the road to Garden City, New York to participate in the Foundation for Women’s Cancer Gynecological Cancer Survivor Course. The all-day event featured seminars, lectures, and panel discussions covering everything a survivor needs to know about health, wellness, and current research going on in the field. Courses covered topics including genetic testing, health care plans, recurrent cancers, and latest research and clinical trials. T.E.A.L. passed out information on resources, Ovarian Cancer awareness information and genetic testing at the event, and T.E.A.L. Scientific Advisory Board member Dr. Sharyn Lewin was one of the guest speakers.
