T.E.A.L. at Globeathon Event

On June 17, 2015 ®T.E.A.L. attended an event for the Globeathon End Women’s Cancer “Together We Stand”, the only international movement focused on the prevention and early detection of all gynecological cancers and is supported by international gynecologists, gynecological oncologists and doctors, as well as gynecological cancer survivors.  This Globeathon event at the House of the Lord Church in Brooklyn highlighted vital information for prevention and early detection. This night also featured performances by “No Evidence of Disease” (N.E.D), a unique band of six gynecologic oncology surgeons from across the country. N.E.D. is taking healing and the arts to a new level as a powerful awareness movement that gives a voice to women effected by gynecologic cancers. The cornerstone of N.E.D.’s Mission is education and awareness with songs designed to empower women, give them hope and to break the silence surrounding gynecologic cancers.  This night included a special candle lighting ceremony to honor those women who have lost their battle with “below the belt” cancers. Special thank you to N.E.D for their performance and Globeathon for hosting such an amazing event! Let’s end Ovarian Cancer starting in Brooklyn!
