On May 9, 2018, T.E.A.L® Scientific Advisory Board Member Dr. Matthew Lederman led a discussion for healthcare practitioners, local organizations, and the public on how BRCA carriers and patients with Lynch Syndrome and other hereditary cancers can plan and build the families of their dreams. The talk also covered how IVF with Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) is utilized to prevent the transmission of cancer predisposition syndromes to offspring. T.E.A.L.® was able to say a few words about its work throughout NYC, and was able to speak to other organizations in NYC and farther afield about their work with cancer patients and genetics.
