Brooklyn Borough Hall was lit teal from September 1st through September 8th to kick off National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. A press conference was held on the steps of Borough Hall on August 28th to announce the lighting and educate the public on ovarian cancer. Speakers at the press conference included Andrea Hertzberg from Share Cancer Support, Council Member Espinal, Dr. Wendy Wilcox – Obstetrician/Gynecologist at NYC Health + Hospitals Kings County, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and our CEO & Co-Founder Pamela Esposito- Amery.
