On Thursday, November 9th, 2017, T.E.A.L® visited Medgar Evers College Preparatory School for a presentation about ways to get involved with T.E.A.L®’s work. The event was organized by the National Honor Society Club and a T.E.A.L® representative provided pamphlets with information on ovarian cancer and gave an educational presentation about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of ovarian cancer. The presentation also explained T.E.A.L®’s mission to spread awareness about ovarian cancer and fund medical research towards finding a cure, as well as all all the different programs and events we have available for students interested in internships or service hours. Thank you Medgar Evers Prep and National Honor Society club for having us and allowing us to share valuable information about ovarian cancer!
