Bushwick Ascend, a charter school in Brooklyn, NY organized and ran a bake sale with proceeds going to support T.E.A.L.’s Ovarian Cancer awareness and research programs. Students, friends and family gathered in the gymnasium of the school to enjoy fresh baked treats and watch an educational slideshow about Ovarian Cancer and its signs, symptoms and risk factors.
The school was able to donate $500 to T.E.A.L.’s programs Thank you to everyone who helped make this fun and educational day happen!
